About Us

About Joyland Roofing

We’ve heard it far too often: People end up frustrated when trying to communicate with a contractor. Slow responses. Inadequate information. Lousy processes that leave them feeling confused.

Sadly, we’re not surprised by this. According to the Better Business Bureau, Roofers are the most complained-about service provider – not only in home improvement, but in the entire construction industry. The worst part? 1 out of every 3 of these complaints never gets resolved. The revolving door of roofers coming and leaving the trade is very high. In it for a few years to make a buck, and then they disappear. Or they don’t calculate their costs correctly, underprice themselves, and then liquidate when things get tough.

This gets to the heart of why Joyland Roofing is in business. We hate that reputation of our industry. We’ve been in this for a long time, and have seen countless roofing companies start up, run, and fail. We get calls all the time from people who’ve had a new roof put on but it still leaks and the roofer won’t own up to it. Or they’re in the process of getting their roof done by someone and they’re confused by the billing and the change orders so they call us for a second opinion. Or they called 3 companies and nobody is responding to their request.

This is why Joyland is here. We’re frustrated by this and are here to make a difference in an industry plagued with problems. We’re passionate about making sure our customers get what they deserve.

We believe that communicating with your contractor should be simple. Estimates and scope of work should make sense. You deserve to know and understand what’s being done, how much it’s going to cost, and when it’ll happen.

We set a new standard for roofers by corresponding quickly and often from start to finish. You’ll be provided with clear information, promptly. We’ll help you understand what’s necessary and what’s not. We’ll provide inspection videos and pictures. We’ll give you expert advice. Free estimates that make sense. A top-notch roof without hassle.

Joyland is a place of happiness for customers and employees alike. What started out as a fledgling business on Joyland Street many years ago has developed into a company with the same fundamental values it had at the beginning. Everyone in the company holds the standard of being Excited to Serve. It’s what keeps us connected as a team, and connected to our customers.

Over 30 years we’ve done quite a few unique roofing projects. Church steeples and restorative slate work, thousands of homes, retirement communities, multi-family buildings, commercial storage, industrial flat roofs. We’ve installed cedar shake roofs, shingles, slate, flat roof systems, copper and metal roofs. We enjoy the challenge of understanding the problems our customers face. We’re all about providing clear roof solutions that make sense.

The Joyland Roofing Promise means we will:

Give free estimates, quickly. Usually within 48 hours after we’ve been in contact

Provide zero-risk contracts for homeowners - we do not require a penny until you're happy

Communicate proactively, in a way that takes the stress out of the process

Who else is Joyland helping?

We don’t stop at helping customers solve roofing problems. We believe in extending our hearts and hands to help people who have not had the opportunities we’ve had in life. Everybody deserves a chance, and so we invest our resources of time and profits into charitable organizations. A few of the organizations we support:

Continuing Education Is Important to Us

Even with all of the experience under our belt, we keep learning. Regular training happens as a part of the job here. That’s why we have gained certification from the world’s largest roofing products manufacturers such as GAF. We are members of the National Roofing Contractors Association. We hone our craftsmanship skills, and work on our relationship and communication skills. Because we know that all these little things matter to our customers. They make us better people, better for our community.

We invest in regular product and service training and continually focus on refining and improving how we work. Each Joyland Roofer is committed to learning and growing.

Crew leaders are trained in effective team leadership, must complete safety and installation tests, and actively maintain consistent quality for each job they oversee.

Our entire workforce has been trained by experts not only in leak-proof installation methods, but also in attention to detail, care for the property of others, safety, and professionalism in all aspects of work.
