John Esh

John is a 2nd generation owner at Joyland Roofing. Growing up in the family business meant that he spent many hours cleaning the shop, being the ground clean-up crew on jobs, and learning how to earn his keep. Though John wasn’t old enough to operate equipment and work on the roof, he certainly learned the jargon and thought he could do it all!

Once John was (finally!) old enough to be a full-time roofer, he found he had a lot to learn about roofing and waterproofing. He is a member of the National Roofing Contractors Association, and holds certifications including GAF Master Elite, Versico Certified Contractor, and MuleHide Certified Contractor.

Over the years, John has worked every position in the company, which has helped him in guiding decisions to be focused on what really matters to our customers. This includes clear communication, transparent pricing, and guarantees which give our customers the assurance they deserve.

What makes John happy is that his two young sons are just as proud as he was to be “roofers”. They’re veterans of the trade and they’re not even 10!

John and his wife love to invest in their community through ministry outreach and projects. They endeavor to pass on to their children their values of Family, love for God and love for others.
