Roofing Questions

We offer services from small roof repairs all the way up to full roof replacements. We offer these services for both residential and commercial customers.

For Standard Roof Replacements

For a typical single-family home, our goal is to schedule your roof replacement within 3 to 4 weeks after you’ve signed a quote with us. But let’s say you’ve got a big event in 13 days, and you need the roof done before the party starts. While we can’t guarantee it, we’ll certainly do our best to meet your deadline. We’ve even had projects where we completed a roof in less than a week after quoting. So, if you’re in a time crunch, just let us know, and we’ll see what we can do!

For Commercial Projects

For larger commercial roof replacements, we aim to get the project rolling within 4 to 6 weeks of your initial call. This timeline can fluctuate depending on a few factors, like the time it takes to process permits, approve warranty applications, and receive materials.

When it comes to commercial roof leaks, we generally schedule repairs within 3 to 5 days, though in some cases, we might be able to get out there within a day or two.

More information can be found by clicking here.

We created a video to easily showcase the different kinds of roofs that are out there and how to tell what kind of roof you have! Check out this video below.

We repair and replace all different types of roofs such as:

Many factors come into play as to how long it will take our crews to replace a roof.

One factor is the complexity of the roof. An example of this could be a single story ranch home that is two thousand square feet and does not have many penetrations like multiple pipes and chimneys, or things like angle changes and dormers. This kind of a house is typically something we can knock out in a day.

Weather can also play a role in delaying a project, since our crews cannot work in the rain. If rain occurs midway through your project we make sure your roof is leak-free, no matter the stage of the project. And in those cases, sometimes it means we gotta work in the rain

Replacing a roof is a major undertaking. It's disruptive and potentially hazardous for everyone involved—those on the roof, those on the ground, and even the bird feeder in the flowerbed! We have spent years refining our process to keep your home and property safe as we work on your roof.

A full video explaining how we protect property can be found below!

We do!! We offer many different skylight and sun tunnel options.

We have a video explaining the basics of skylight and sun tunnel installation below

Of course! Whether its a shingle replacement or a patch, we will be there to help you weather any issue when it comes to storm damage (no pun intended)

Check out the video below to see how we go about inspecting a roof after a severe hail storm impacted a York County community.

Storm damage can be anything that damages your roof related to hail, wind, snow, or rain. It’s important to repair this damage as quickly as possible to prevent the need for more costly repairs in the future.

Other Service Questions

We offer K-style aluminum, half-round, and copper gutters for homeowners. Each type of gutter has its own pros and cons. We can better review the types of gutters we offer when you contact us.

Yes, we also provide covers in addition to our variety of gutter options. You can choose between three of the leading gutter cover systems available today. These are Gutter RX, LeaFree®️, and Xtreme.

Seamless gutters are custom-made, on the spot, in front or behind your home or business. So, how does that work? First, we establish some measurements of your roofline and the rainfall in the area. We then use a machine to press gutters to the correct depth and length. The result is a custom-fit gutter capable of efficiently carrying away rain and snowmelt.

Seamless gutters are intended to take the water flow from your roof and move it to a place where it won’t impact your walkways or the foundation of your building. Snowmelt and rainfall can flow fast and make a serious mess of things when it comes to ice, mud, and flooding.

Ice can create hazardous conditions outside of your office or business. With seamless gutters, you won’t have to worry about throwing down ice salt or chipping away at a frozen puddle this winter and spring.

Absolutely! Seamless gutters are less likely to have debris trapped in them compared to cut and spliced-together traditional gutters. One way to enhance seamless gutters is to add gutter guards to them, which we at Joyland Roofing can help with. They are the next step in a maintenance-free gutter system.

Here at Joyland Roofing, we repair and install three major siding materials: vinyl, fiber cement, and wood.

Fiber cement siding is a blend of cement, cellulose fibers (like the kind found in wood pulp), and sand. This makes it the most durable siding material on the market, resistant to rot, pests, and even fire.

Fiber cement lasts longer than most siding materials and is incredibly low-maintenance. It comes in a wide range of styles and colors and can be made to look like wood or stone without the cost and maintenance of the materials it mimics.

A few of the most common signs that it’s time to replace your siding are:

  • Presence of mold, fungus, or mildew
  • Damaged or deteriorating siding
  • Frequent maintenance
  • Fading or peeling pain
  •  High energy bills

When it comes to siding, the cost depends on a number of factors such as the size of your home (as this helps us determine how much siding material is needed) and the siding material itself.

Remember that other factors affect the overall cost of your siding installation, such as labor costs, project specifications, and quality of materials. For a personalized quote that matches your home’s specifications, call Joyland Roofing today at 717-459-3499 or fill out our contact form!

Vinyl siding, despite its shaky beginnings as a somewhat flimsy siding material, is now a durable, low-maintenance, and cost-effective siding material. The vinyl siding we use is the best on the market, made of thick PVC and resistant to pests and the harsh winters of Pennsylvania. Vinyl siding is energy efficient and will help keep your power bills low.
